In the future, perhaps 20 years from now, cannabis-based medicines will have a prominent place in the worldwide pharmacopeia again. Indeed, we might have even gotten there much faster if it hadn’t been for the draconian interference of the U.S. government. To this day, they are still blocking researchers from accessing cannabis to study. Countless thousands have died suffering and millions more continue to be denied access to plant-based medications that could not only mitigate their misery, but also possibly even cure them.

Celeste Yarnall Update — Let’s Make This Happen NOW!!

celestialmusingsblog:

I love this from trekker scrapbook.com and am so appreciative of any help you all can give me. I am raising funding for advanced personalized cancer treatments that will use my banked live tumor sample tissues to make special vaccines for me personally. You may have seen some of these treatment options shared recently on 60 minutes. Plus this is all out of pocket as insurance doesn’t cover it. My husband and I will have to travel regularly to most likely the Cayman Islands to get these treatments which my oncologist if very excited about. We need to raise an additional $25.000 to help prolong my surviving ovarian cancer. Please help me beat this terrible sneaky form of cancer. All my love for what ever you can donate..the minimum accepted at gofundme is $5 and up and we appreciate it very much. If a lot of people do a little bit that will be fantastic. We also have a stack of bills and more coming that insurance won’t cover and then just basic home health care costs as well. xoxo

Hey Kids,

As you may recall from my last update, I issued a challenge to all of you to raise $1,500 for Celeste’s cancer fund, and ifwe achieved this goal we’d get an Exclusive Interview with Celeste here.   Alas, so far I’ve only seen one donation (aside from my own) that has the words ‘trekerscrapbook’ on it, and suffice to say. we’re nowhere near the $1500 goal*.  But we can change this.

Did you know that between the “likes” on Facebook for this blog, and my subscribers, Trekker Scrapbook is 1,145 members strong? I challenge 100 of my followers to donate just $15.00 eachTODAY —  Donating is easy- just be sure to add the words“Trekker Scrapbook” when you add a comment to your donation here.  (This is how I tally the donations).  If you can’t send $15.00, send $10 or even $5– every…

BLONDIE’S MAKIN A COME BACK

DO BLONDES HAVE MORE FUN?

Hmmm.  Well, I feel like I can answer that question.  I mean, now that, between my real hair and my many crazy fun wigs, I’ve had quite the variety of color, length, and shiny bald looks to weigh out my answer.  The truth is, who has more fun really depends on the person themselves and how they choose to handle their day and open themselves up to the graces available to do enjoy the day no matter what cards have been dealt … what the heck kind of hair they have.  Don’t matter what ya look like, Honey. It’s what’s inside that counts.  How cliché, I know.  But it’s so very true.

Eye roll. Right?

Seriously though.  The thought of me losing my hair, as I’ve said many times before, was what made my kids hit the floor when I announced my diagnosis to them.  My long blonde locks…

Hey Everybody!

I have some exciting news! I am offering you a challenge!

As you all know, our friend and TOS Guest Star Celeste Yarnall has been battling a rare ovarian cancer. Her cancer fund is almost to the half way mark of $25,000. As I write this today, she is heading in for more chemo. <3 Celeste needs our support and prayers, but the best thing we can do is send donations to her fund to help pay the medical bills her insurance won’t cover. I came up with this idea recently, and when I messaged it to Celeste, she happily approved! :-) So here’s the challenge:

If We, all the readers and subscribers to trekkerscrapbook, donate at TOTAL of $1,500 or more for the cancer fund, Celeste Yarnall will grant me (and all of you) an EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW for this site! This would be a wonderful opportunity to hear what it was like to guest on so many classic 60’s series (Bonanza, My Three Sons, The Man From UNCLE, It Takes a Thief, The Wild Wild West,) and OF COURSE the classic Star Trek episode The Apple! Not to mention what it was like to work with Elvis Presley! And even better, If we raise the money, I will also select 3 questions from your submissions to add to the interview!

HOW TO DONATE TO CELESTE’S FUND AS A TREKKERSCRAPBOOK MEMBER: (IT’S EASY!)
1) Go to Celeste’s Cancer Fund at http://www.gofundme.com/kvo9xs

2) Click on the Donate Now button.

3) Enter the amount, your name, e-mail, etc. but MOST IMPORTANTLY:

4) In the COMMENT section below, enter the words ‘TrekkerScrapbook Member” (and a personal note if you like). This way I can keep track of how many members here have contributed and how much we have achieved. I will post updates here regularly.

5) Hit ‘Continue’ button, finish payment.

Kids, I really want this interview, so let’s make this happen! I know any extra money made will help Celeste and Nazim greatly! Hope to see those dollars add up soon!! Please donate today; the sooner we can raise $1500, the sooner we can get the exclusive interview! And start thinking of what questions you’d like to ask Celeste!

Thanks So Much, Therese Bohn :-D Continue reading

Dear Friends,

Celeste has had a scary week – please keep her in your prayers.  Last Thursday she had to be re-admitted to the hospital and put in isolation with no visitors (save for her husband Nazim) She had a high fever, coughing and retching. Also white count down, but it’s thankfully not pneumonia.  As she updated on her site on Saturday:

My husband Nazim and daughter Cami rushed me into emergency at my hospital Thursday night, quite late. I was burning up and coughing and retching uncontrollably.

We spent the night in the ER doing tests, they started me on a new antibiotic by drip, IV fluids, breathing treatments with a nebulizer, oxygen, and then at 5am I was admitted back into the hospital in isolation on the oncology floor.

My white count is way low so that makes me nutrapoenic, I…
