Butterfly Nebula ~ Study by Nazim Artist http://www.NazimArtist.com

Most artists do a study or “cartoon’ before they realize the final art work on a large canvas. The detail that I use for this blog that Nazim Artist created first, is from the final Butterfly Nebula which is part of cycle..A study is like a stepping stone on the way to a destination, the ultimate vision Nazim painted is actually on a 6 ft x 8 ft canvas. The artwork developed from Nazim’s study but was part of an earlier and ongoing cycle of work, however, it has been exhibited since September 2011 at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood CA. This exhibition closes June 18, 2012. If you are in the area please stop in and see the ultimate version in person. The Gallery Theatre is usually open after 11am and is located in the Barnsdall Art Center and Park. See my blog on the Art of Wellness for more details.

What does this ‘study’ say to you. It will be interesting to see what feelings these first images convey to you and how you express them and then see if your feelings expand when I post the Butterfly Nebula painting a bit later. Join in here with us and share what emotions it evokes.

  1. Many of you know that I also write a blog at Care2 also called Celestial Musings and check often the newsletter to see what my colleagues are posting and whilst on the subject of butterflies I found this and wanted to share it with you (http://www.care2.com/greenliving/giraffe-chasing-a-butterfly-video.html) as an interlude before I post the Butterfly Nebula which you can only see half of at the top of this blog. I would love to hear your feelings about what the art posted here evokes. If you have considered reincarnation, does it bring up a past life or something from between lives or something from this life? Let your imagination soar like the butterflies and take you to another realm.
