As a first step in the formulation of MOXXOR, we extract a concentrate of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) from Perna Canaliculus (the species New Zealand greenlip mussel). We then refine the product through a sophisticated process which is undertaken in our own high-tech vacuum fluid extraction (VFE) facility. MOXXOR’s process is the only known means, worldwide, to commercially manufacture the PUFA ‘s concentrate without the use of heat. MOXXOR is the exclusive worldwide licensee of this combination of processes.
The process of extracting the antioxidants from kiwifruit and grape seeds is similarly unique. We start with freshly separated seeds from New Zealand’s award-winning kiwifruit and sauvignon blanc grapes. These seeds have up to twice the levels of polyphenolic antioxidant compounds found in similar seeds grown in other parts of the world. These seeds are from kiwi and grapes grown under a Sustainable Viticulture program and are free from genetically modified material, heavy metals, in-organic arsenic and pesticides.
