Most artists do a study or “cartoon’ before they place their image on a large canvas. The detail that I use for this blog is from the final Butterfly Nebula which is 6 ft x 8 ft. The artwork developed and became the final painting which has been exhibited since September 2011 at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood CA. What does this ‘study’ say to you. Join in and share what it evokes in you.
